Competitive mobile VR FPS
VOXSYS game development case study
A Meta-commissioned voxel arena shooter engineered for responsive combat at 90 FPS on mobile VR.
THE GAME
VOXSYS combines team-based arena combat with real-time building and destruction. Cover changes during the match, routes open and close, and the multiplayer model keeps every action responsive while the battlefield evolves.
Work delivered by current Sourcegarden Studio team members during their previous VR Storm Studio roles.

THE DEVELOPMENT CHALLENGE
Run a destructible competitive FPS on mobile VR hardware while keeping aiming, movement and online combat immediate.
Low-level optimisation, Burst compilation and native containers supported the 90 FPS target, while a client-predicted multiplayer framework reduced perceived latency in combat.
