Original PC multiplayer IP
Bad Goons game development case study
A large-scale Unity FPS where players dig, destroy and build across a shifting voxel battlefield.
THE GAME
Bad Goons is Source Garden Studio's current original IP: a team-based PC shooter designed around a battlefield that never stays fixed. Players reshape terrain, create trenches, remove cover and build new defensive positions during the match.
Bad Goons is a current Sourcegarden Studio original game in active development.
ROLE & CONTRIBUTION
Original concept, gameplay development, multiplayer architecture, dedicated-server infrastructure, cloud deployment and technical production.
Platforms: PC · Linux dedicated servers
Technology: Unity 6 · FishNet · Voxel systems · Linux dedicated servers · Containers

THE DEVELOPMENT CHALLENGE
Synchronise combat, players and a world that everyone can excavate, destroy and rebuild without losing responsiveness or authority.
The architecture separates the Unity client, FishNet realtime layer, voxel simulation, authoritative Linux servers and containerised deployment into explicit production systems.
