Responsive PC gameplay and systems

PC players expect precise input, configurable presentation and consistent feedback across a wide hardware range. We develop combat, cameras, progression, UI and supporting systems against the target experience while keeping important tuning available to designers.

Multiplayer from client to dedicated server

For connected PC games, prediction, authority, replication and session behavior influence the feel of the client. We design these boundaries together, using network simulation and representative server builds throughout production instead of postponing online validation until content lock.

Bad Goons separates its Unity client, FishNet realtime layer, mutable voxel simulation, authoritative Linux servers and containerized deployment. That separation creates explicit ownership while keeping diagnostics and production releases tied to the same playable milestones.

Complex worlds and production tools

Procedural and player-modifiable worlds can multiply both the design space and the failure surface. Spatial queries, geometry generation, persistence, networking and editor workflows must work as one system if a production team is going to create content and reproduce defects efficiently.

Bad Goons uses a battlefield that players excavate, destroy and rebuild during a match. Supporting that loop requires network-aware voxel state, repeatable maps, production diagnostics and authoring tools-not only the rendering technique visible in a screenshot.

Performance, builds and release readiness

PC performance work begins with supported hardware tiers, graphics and memory budgets, representative scenes and useful crash information. We profile the workloads that matter to players, then expose settings and content guardrails that let the product scale without making every machine behave identically.

Yes, when the scope and production model fit the team. We can also own a bounded gameplay, Unity, multiplayer, procedural-system, optimization or release-engineering workstream inside a larger production.

Do you support dedicated servers for PC multiplayer games?

Yes. Bad Goons uses authoritative Unity headless Linux servers with containerized deployment. Hosting scale, persistent backend services and operational support are scoped around the actual game.

Do you claim console release experience?

This page intentionally focuses on verified PC production. We do not present console certification or platform-holder experience without specific supporting project evidence.
